THE SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE SHIPS
In January 2023, the two ferries Peter Pan and Nils Holgersson of the shipping company TT-Line started service. They are the largest LPG-powered Ro-Pax ferries in the world. Both ferries are among the most modern and environmentally friendly ships in the Baltic Sea and offer an excellent travel experience. Onboard facilities include a cinema, casino, restaurant, shop and wellness centre with a sauna.
TeamHoff GmbH was commissioned to furnish the various lounges, the sports bar, the main counter, the cafeteria and the bar. The ferries welcome many thousands of guests every month for a more or less short stay. A correspondingly high load-bearing capacity of the furniture we supply is a prerequisite; this is proven by certified tests. Several hundred pieces of furniture were delivered on time, taking into account assembly and placement. The TeamHoff GmbH assembly team did a fast and professional job. It goes without saying that the wishes of our customer came first. Short-term change requests under partly difficult working conditions were no obstacle for our long-time experienced employees.
With a very well-prepared dispatch of the furniture, precise arrangements with the customer and a forward-looking view of our assembly team, disruptions in the process and possible time bottlenecks can be avoided. Especially when furnishing „moving objects“ such as a ship, there should be as few deviations as possible from the specified schedule. Once again, we were able to convince our customers of our professionalism and the highest product quality.
