With the extension to the existing stand-alone building, the district of Ludwigslust-Parchim is opting for modernity. The current solitary building – with the district council chamber and canteen – has existed for a good 20 years and no longer meets today’s requirements as a workplace for 77 district council members. Now, appropriate conditions have been created for the honorary office and also better conditions for the citizens of the district as visitors. The modern and comfortably furnished workrooms promote network-based communication. Purpose-oriented and coordinated with a high-quality design concept, brand-name furniture from Walter Knoll, among others, was used.
